*NEW CATEGORY* 10 Minutes or Less for short Bechdel-passing films from directors of any gender!
Film submissions in this category must adhere to the following to be considered:
-The film’s director may be of any gender, but a female must hold at least one of the following production roles: writer, producer, cinematographer, editor
-The film’s total running time (inclusive of titles and credits) must be 10 minutes or less
-The film must be narrative fiction - NO documentaries
-The film must feature a female protagonist in the leading role
-The film must also pass the Bechdel Test (at least 2 named women characters who talk to each other about something other than a man, men, or boys).
We accept rolling submissions for spring and fall screening events. Details can be found on Withoutabox.
